This choreography is born of dialogue between the dancer Kiman Chanmolyvuth and the artist Khvay Samnang, echoing the Khmer musical tradition and the “arak” rituals of possession. In this performance, Kiman Chanmolyvuth calls on arak spirits to bless the creation and opening of “Rubber Man”, Khvay Samnang’s exhibition at Jeu de Paume, Paris.
