Dear Wendy,
I thank you so much, first for answering me, and especially for this precious link.
I wish you all the best. Keep on you’re doing a tremendous job.

Dear Cyrine,
Thanks for your kind comments. At present I am using parts of the recordings of the sound spaces in a sound-track for a short drawn film ‘Heir to the Evangelical Revival’ which will only be finished in the summer. This is the first time that I have been recording sounds for my films and it has opened up an entirely new region within to work. Recently I have been recording train journeys and walks from the station into the city centres and I want to make audio stories using these sounds. In the beginning I was very interested in the sound of the ’empty’ spaces of the chapels but my films are short – about five minutes and there isn’t really the time in them to ‘hear’ these spaces. Fragments of sounds are more useful.
You might find the work of sound artist Pietro Riparbelli interesting. He is involved in recording ambient sound in ancient churches and cathedrals. See http://pietroriparbelli.bandcamp.com/track/center-of-the-church.
